Project Jonah New Zealand

Saving whales and empowering local communities since 1974

Rescue. Action. Protection.

In an average year, more than 300 whales and dolphins strand on our shores. Project Jonah New Zealand responds to these emergencies, saving the lives of marine mammals across the country. We do this by empowering local communities - giving them the tools and knowledge to make a real difference to the lives of these animals.
